Introduction to Winter Skills course overview
Discover a whole new set of skills to take your adventures into the winter. You'll develop your personal skills to move confidently with the use of ice axe and crampons and navigate in the winter environment. You'll develop a basic awareness of avalanche risks and the winter mountain environment that leave you ready for your own winter mountain adventures.
We take it a step further on the ropework course. We'll introduce the rope and practice building basic snow anchors and belays. These are essential skills to master before you venture onto steeper ground.

You should have some summer hill walking experience, but no previous winter walking experience is needed.
