Snowdon Summit (Yr Wyddfa) is a breathtaking 1,085m high. It's the highest mountain in Wales and England. Join the Outdoor Adventure Girls and a team of experienced Mountain Leaders on a guided ascent of this spectacular mountain.
We leave the village by a steep lane and gain height quickly before starting on the Llanberis path. It'll be a comfortable and sociable pace throughout the day and we'll have our first break at the halfway house.
From here we continue to our 2nd stop at Clogwyn station. We continue steeply but then then the path eases to gentle gradient as we arrive at the famous Snowdon standing stone, where 5 paths meet.
We continue on the final push to the summit of Snowdon. We'll aim to be on the summit for 1pm so there'll be plenty of time to relax and enjoy the fantastic views.
We'll take a couple of breaks on the way back down and aim to be back in Llanberis for victory drinks at around 4pm.
Meeting Point, Parking and Toilets
Please arrive at the meeting point promptly and ready to head up the mountain. You'll receive a safety brief and be allocated to a guide. There's plenty of parking opposite the Snowdon Mountain Railway station. There are public toilets at the station.
Food, Drink and Kit
You’ll need to bring a packed lunch and a drink. A flask is recommended for colder days. On warmer days we'd recommend 2 litres of water.
Consent Form
You'll be provided with a consent form to complete when you meet your guide. If there are any medical conditions we need to know about, please record this on the consent form and make sure your guide is aware.
