Introduction to Winter Mountaineering Skills course overview
Discover a whole new set of winter skills to take your walking into the winter. Develop your personal winter skills to move confidently with the use of ice axe and crampons and navigate in the winter mountains. You'll develop a basic awareness of avalanche risks and winter mountaineering skills to move on steeper ground.
Ropework
We take it a step further on the this course. We'll introduce the rope and practice building basic snow anchors and belays. These are essential skills to master before you venture onto steeper ground.

Who is this course for?
You should have some summer hill walking experience, but no previous winter walking experience is needed.
