No previous experience of climbing is required to attend a Rock Skills Introduction course because the content of the course is aimed at complete beginners. If you do have some experience of climbing but aren’t confident about using the equipment required, finding the crags, locating the routes you want to do and how to stay safe on the crag then a Rock Skills Introduction course is an ideal way to learn.
What does a Rock Skills Introduction Course Cover?
Our Rock Skills courses are accredited by Mountain Training. If you wish to receive accreditation for this course, you'll need to register with Mountain Training www.mountain-training.org Registration is free for under 18s and £20 for adults.

Our Instructors are members of the Mountain Training Association. We regularly attend workshops to continue our own personal development.
Mountain Training Association is the support and development branch of Mountain Training, offering a range of workshops for trainee and qualified leaders and coaches.
